My SQL Examples

I used SQL to query a DVD Relational Database. I investigated average download size, cost per genre, individual customer invoices and how many countries were supported by the DVD store's customer support reps.

The Average Amount Spent Per Genre By Customer 57.

Customer 57 bought songs in multiple genres from Jan 2009 to 2013. The highest amounts were spent in the T.V Shows genre and Science Fiction genre. The average amount spent in both genres was 17.91usd. The least amount of money was spent in the classical music and blues genres. Customer 57 spent an average of .99 cents in the classical genre and 3.99 in the blue genre.

How Many Countries Were Serviced Per Agent? Who Served The Most Countries?

Support agent number three supported customers from 21 countries while support agent number five only served  customers from 18 countries. Support agent number four fell in the middle with supporting customers from 20 countries. Support agent number three supported customers from the most countries.

Largest Albums By Download Size In Bytes

The 10 largest albums in terms of file size are from the TV shows Genre. The largest album is Lost Season 3 with over 1 billion bytes. The smallest of the 10 largest albums is The Office Season 2 with 300 million bytes.

The Top 10 Metal Composers And A Sum Of All Their Individual Track Lengths Combined

This query is for the top 10 metal composers and a sum of all their individual track lengths combined. Steve Harris comes in at the top with the sum of all their tracks being about 13 million milliseconds. James Hetfield come in at number 10 with the sum of all their tracks being a little bit over 2.4 million milliseconds.
